Since the show aired 25 years ago on NBC in 1994, Friends, the American sitcom tv series, got the attention and praise of millions of viewers. The all-star cast of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, graced our television screens at home with their 20-30 something lives filled with dating drama, workforce struggles, family relationships, and of course, friendship, continuously providing us with lots of laughter and tons of one-liners we still use today. And now we can recreate their episodes, or pay tribute to them with official props from the set!
The episodes of Friends didn’t just charm and warm our hearts, but provided viewers with storylines we can all relate to. And in honor of the show’s 25th year anniversary, Props Store and Warner Bros. Television have announced they are holding an exclusive auction of props from all 10 seasons.
The auction will include props like costumes and scripts, to iconic materials like the Central Perk Coffee Shop couch:

And because we can’t celebrate Thanksgiving without it - the iconic turkey Monica had on her head in, “The One with All the Thanksgivings” where Chandler tells her he loves her:
More than 80 lots will be available for bidding online, starting December 3rd. And “every piece in the auction comes directly from the Warner Bros. Archive with an original Warner Bros. Certificate of Authenticity.” Plus, all the proceeds will be sent to The Trevor Project for suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people, just in time for Giving Tuesday (HollywoodReporter).
Prop Store COO Brandon Alinger says that the company is “thrilled to be working with Warner Bros. to auction some incredible material” and recognizes the “series gave us so many laughs during its original run and continues to entertain and inspire fans around the world" (CNN). So, there’s no doubt that the auction will go over well and be a huge success for giving back to The Trevor Project.
Now we can live a little like Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross, in our apartment away from Manhattan, but in our own Central Perk themed living room.
